St. Marys – The Toronto Blue Jays team of expert baseball instructors have agreed to conduct a clinic for girls & boys aged 7-18 on Friday, July 19 at the St. Marys Cement Plant Field on the grounds of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum (386 Church St., St. Marys, ON).

Participants will be grouped by age and skill level, and the Blue Jays will provide all of the necessary equipment. Players simply need to dress appropriately and bring their own baseball gloves. The camp will run from 9:00AM-1:00pm. The cost to attend is $32.00, and the Blue Jays have committed to donating some of the proceeds towards the second and third field munder construction at the CBHFM.

"We are planning to conduct approximately 25 camps across the province, and we would have been remiss not to include the home of Canada's Baseball Hall of Fame on our list," said Kevin Briand, Manager of Amateur Baseball for the Blue Jays. "We love what they are doing with their 32-acre site, and it won't be long before St. Marys becomes the place that Canada sends their children to learn the game of baseball the proper way."

As a bonus, the participants who pre-register by July 17 will receive a free ticket to the Team Canada vs. Team USA game, which takes place on the same field on Sunday, July 21 at 2:00PM.
