BASEBALL HALL INDUCTEES TO BE ANNOUNCED LIVE ON CANADA AM

St. Marys - The 2002 Inductees for the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum will be announced "live" on CTV's Canada AM. Tom Valcke, CBHFM president & CEO, will be in studio with Lisa LaFlamme, Rod Black and Jeff Hutcheson. "CTV really stepped up to the plate in seeking that we name the inductees on Canada's most-watched morning show," said Valcke. "We are still one of Canada's best-kept secrets, and this will be a significant step in our 'friend-raising' efforts."

"The Hall of Fame's mission to preserve our baseball heritage, while at the same time committing itself to design its programs towards instilling the passion of baseball in our youth, is most admirable," noted Jeffery Tam, Canada AM producer. "We are proud to promote the Hall's activities coast to coast." While the names of the inductees will only be made public on Monday, Tam added that one or two of them will either be in studio or live via remote camera.
