"M&M Meats have quietly supported every one of our endeavours for six or seven years now," said Valcke.
"It hasn't been their style to be paraded up to the stage for thanks - they simply believe in what we're doing and have always supported us with product, delicious product at that!"
Robinson, a native of Dorchester, was Team Canada's catcher and led Canada at the plate with a .313 batting average, playing in six of Canada's seven games. He also played errorless defense and was a welcome right-handed bat in Canada's left-handed dominated line-up.
Stern, who led Team Canada to the defeat of USA at the 2006 World Baseball Classic, was Team Canada's center fielder in Beijing for all seven of its games, playing sparkling defense without an error, and chipping in with four hits including a pair of triples and three RBI. His four runs were second-most on the team.
M&M Meats' finger foods will be served with punch, and the athletes will be available for autographs and photos.
