St. Marys – Five thousand dollars worth of lottery tickets are up for grabs on Saturday, May 1st in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum's Lotto Draw. The Grand Prize of fifteen thousand dollars worth of lottery tickets plus ten prizes of one hundred dollars worth of lottery tickets will be pulled later this season, but the Earlybird Prize will be drawn as part of the Opening Day festivities. Winners are given the option of accepting the lottery tickets (Super 7 or 6/49) or a lesser cash prize.

Proceeds go towards the newly launched KIDS ON DECK program, which consists of week-long summer camps where boys and girls are taught baseball FUNdamentals and other sport activities. Tomorrow's leaders will also address social justice and cultural awareness issues, using baseball as a medium to break down the perceived barriers of race, religion, gender, language and border.
