OTHER INTERESTING FACTS - Was still being contructed during the first two months
of EXPOS home games in April and May of 1969...Jet stream breezes helped drives
to left center carry further...Home runs to right field would often land in the
community swimming pool...On opening day, 4-13-1971, fans were able to stand
behind the eight-foot screen fence, that stood behind the five-foot screen fence,
on snow that had been piled high in right field viewing the contest free...After
the EXPOS moved into OLYMPIC STADIUM, now often referred to as the ' BIG O ',
Jarry Stadium became a tennis venue and was later dismantled in late 1995.
