Started out with Gulf Coast League Expos in 1994 where he batted .259 with 147 at-bats over 40 games...Again began season with GCL Expos in 1995 before joining the Albany Polecats where he hit .213 in 23 games with 80 at-bats...With the Vermont Expos of the New York-Penn League in 1996 he batted .300 with 16 doubles and 40 runs batted in...Moved up to the Cape Fear Crocs in the South Atlantic League in 1997 where he compiled a .270 average and 47 rbi...Was an original member of the Jupiter Hammerheads in 1998 where he batted .238 in 344 at-bats with 32 rbi...Returned with the Florida State League Hammerheads in 1999 where he hit .256 with 25 doubles, 10 homers and 77 runs batted in...Began the 2000 campaign with Jupiter where he was batting .206 in limited action before being acquired by the Cleveland Indians in exchange for future considerations on 5-1-2000 ...went on to bat .321 in 237 at-bats for the Kinston Indians in the Carolina League finishing with 18 doubles, 6 homers and 37 rbi...Is again with Kinston as this 2001 season moves ahead...
